Failing to follow up is a common reason for elearning project failure. Signing
the cheque and appointing an elearning project manager even with administrative
support is not enough. Successful elearning initiatives means having elearning
business champions, in support of the elearning project manager's
administrative team. All elearning champions must be given the authority to design,
build and promote the elearning system. In addition elearning champions could
create an interdisciplinary elearning team of stake-holders who, in turn, can
build the elearning skills needed to use the system effectively. |
