We have spoken about online training integration with, for
example, the organisation's development objectives and other
learning methods. However to complete the HRD revolution online
training needs extending to integrate with competency management,
performance management and work redesign.
i.e. online training is only one valuable component
in the HRD toolbox and the processes that lie beneath and
must be managed like any other environment.
It is unlikely that online training on its own can realize
a responsive, learning organisation. However when used properly,
online training will strengthen the other HRD and Organisation
Development components.
To achieve this though clearly needs a good understanding
of where online training fits into an organisation's overall
Business learning, change and development strategy. If this
is not achieved then online training will be an expensive
curiosity and potentially an expensive failure.
To assist with integration the HRD Online training management
system has visible training records, goal setting/action planning,
and inbuilt 360 assessment, and training effectiveness feedback
procedures
