Introduction to - The Institute of Leadership & Management (The ILM)
The Institute of Leadership & Management aims to be
the world's foremost institute in the promotion of management excellence
and development - The HRD Group and the HRD online training system
is championing that ambition.
The HRD Online training system has been approved by the ILM
for a portfolio of Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 VRQ and IMQ qualifications.
The
Institute of Leadership & Management was formed in 2002 by the
merger of the former National Examining Board for Supervision and
Management (NEBS), and the Institute for Supervision and Management
(ISM - with 100 years experience) making it the UK 's largest professional
institute and management qualifications awarding body.
Our Aims
The Institute of Leadership & Management is an awarding body
which aims to build leadership and management at the individual,
team and organisational levels. Together with The HRD Group the
ILM provides managers in every sector and at every level with the
active support they need to advance in management. This support
takes a variety of forms, leading to nationally recognised management
qualifications, ILM Membership and access to learning support packages.
Our Experience
The
HRD Group and their international partners deliver the ILM &
IMQ Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 management, enterprise and coaching
qualifications, using both distant and blended learning methods
for the award, certificate and diploma options:

As part of the City & Guilds Group, the ILM represents a strategic
initiative to support excellence in leadership and management. The
ILM has been working with The HRD Group Ltd for over 16 years, and
with the HRD Online training system since 2002. The HRD Online training
system is fully ILM approved, well established and has been used
by '000's of ILM students.
The HRD Group has an international network of over 50 ILM approved tutors
to ensure that customers are provided with "local" support conversant with the
regions culture and legislative requirements. Most of these tutors are also recognised
by their country's training authorities and institutions.
The HRD Group
uses the HRD Online training system to provide the necessary underpinning knowledge.
Using blended and distant learning methods the ILM's management qualifications
satisfy individual and corporate development needs.
